SOCIAL ROUNDUP: COMBINE EDITION

April 12 18

With the second annual BIG3 Draft set for Thursday night (live on FS1, 8 p.m. ET), the league held its Combine Wednesday afternoon in Santa Monica, Calif., presented by adidas. With coaches and captains in attendance, more than 60 players – some returnees from Season 1 and many new faces – showed ‘em what they got. With only 19 open spots available, the competition is real.

Still, there was time for fun, as captured on the BIG3’s social channels. Others chimed in as well, as chronicled here:

----

Ball Hogs coach Rick Barry was one of the busiest tweeters in the BIG3 last season, and he’s picking up where he left off:

----

New commissioner Clyde “The Glide” Drexler and Tri-State coach Julius Erving do some catching up:

----

BIG3 CEO Amy Trask admired the crown that Trilogy’s Rashad McCants was sporting:

----

BIG3 trash talking king Stephen Jackson of the Killer 3s scouts the action with Trilogy captain Kenyon Martin:

----

Did we mention Stephen Jackson likes to trash talk? Trilogy’s James White enjoyed this video clip of Jackson getting into it with McCants:

----

Terrence Williams, who played with four NBA teams from 2009-2013, admitted he was nervous at the Combine but he was having fun:

----

That’s a wrap…

Don’t forget to tune into the Season 2 Draft – Thursday at 8 p.m. ET on FS1!
